I need to do a review of it, but I have been strapped for time lately.

Much like you, I was kind of indifferent to it. I don't like Uma Thurman, never have, never will. I, too, wish that Quentin wasn't so infatuated with her and cast someone else. However, I have to give her credit...she was kind of a badass in those fight sequences. Her physical abilities in the film were pretty amazing. But then she spoke...

I didn't think the script was great either. I can't remember one original, quotable line. And I can't believe he used the line "Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids" in the film at ANY point, especially before the showdown of the biggest fight scene in the film so far.

I liked the Anime part alright, but I generally don't like Anime anyway. Something creepy about cartoon characters with eyes that big. I also thought they overdid it with the blood geysers.

I thought the fight scene with Liu was pretty anticlimactic, considering Liu was the head of the friggin' Yakuza, a woman, and supposed badass. GoGo with the mace got more licks in on Uma than Liu did.

I don't know. I will see the second part, but like the first, I'm not going to get in a big hurry to see it.
