I was wondering if you were still looking for a pet bird.
Green cheeked conures are a very quite when handraised where as a Quaker can be a little bit more noisy. Both of them are on an even par when it comes to affection but personally i prefer the Quaker as the have a very cheeky nature about them, but not putting down the Green Cheeked Conure in any way either. Both will adapt comfortably and accept the whole family. I hope this has been of some help to you.
