.The twinkling Celestial lights were warm and glowing in the impenetrable black dome of the sky that night, as if they were silently laughing at Selene and making her feel still more dejected. A shadowy silver psiren, the attractive huntress was making her way with graceful, reluctant strides into the dominion of the Rouges - a place she hated almost as much as the one who had forced her here, that dreaded Shiva, as he insisted she call him. Blazing russet orbits glinted with a cold metallic rage that befitted a Dark princess at the mere thought of him, and a soft utterance of disgust eloped the seraph's coal-blushed velvets. Still, for the moment she was his and naught could be done about it.

Sighing inaudibly, the pearlescent minx slowed her fluid steps, for once allowing a dark cloud to come between her and her sense of courage. For a few awful seconds she felt lonely and isolated from the world, with only the fitful stars for company, no other Darks to aid her in her time of need....not that they would have done, but it was nice to dream. Raising her finely carven pate, Selene gazed irritably up at the great silver sphere of the moon, for which she was named. Brittle rays of that haunting pale light filtered down to her, casting darker dapples on her pale porcelain cloak. A few tranquil zephyrs had been aroused from their resting place beyond the horizon and they swirled around her now, invisible fingers combing through the inamorata's river of sleek luminous tassles. What a beautiful night - t'was a shame she was spending it in this cursed domain.
