Carrying on the Greg Moors exhibition:

Greg Moors: Apparently, neo-conservatives feel social programming is a good thing as long as it means they won’t have to pay the true cost of their kids post secondary education.

Well, firstly, I am not a neo-conservative. But who and what is? Is a neo-conservative a former lefty, a Trotskyite who has decided their path was wrong?

Or do you mean a neo-Liberal? Or a "New Right"?

Perhaps you delight in the usage of the word since if sneered can sound quite grimy indeed.

Personally I'm a common sense conservative, one who knows the world is not black and white.

Secondly - you are assigning beliefs which neither I nor anyone on the Prentice campaign that I am aware of has ever espoused. Your problem Greg is that you really are making things up - not only for your own candidate but for all the others too.

That's no way to engender respect.

Greg Moors: Interesting that a group so keen on getting into bed with the US

Incorrect. A broad and inaccurate statement you make without any basis in fact. I assure you with all vigor that Mr. Orchard is not the only campainger who cares deeply about Canada, our sovereignty, and its future.

In fact sovereignty is one of the core pillars of the Prentice campaign, and there are thousands of supporters and other Progressive Conservatives who care passionately about this country. Love of country is something that many of us share. Your candidate espouses a particular approach to Canadian sovereignty which others disagree with. So be it.

GM: doesn’t want to face the facts on what a post secondary education costs. “We want to be just like them and pay less taxes, but we still want universal health care and government underwritten education.”

Again a sweeping satement without any basis in fact. Prentice Education policy will be published in detail over the course of the campaign. I suggest you read it before commenting further.

GM: Sorry folks it just doesn’t work. Do the math.

Ooh that's a tempting line to respond to. If Mr. Orchard actually publishes detailed policy we just might do that.
