I couldn't agree more with the following comment submitted by Mike Redmond in another thread:

"While we will all become partisan over issues as we go along, lets try to treat each other, and the people who have been brave enough to put themselves up as candidates for our party, with respect".

I'm posting this under a separate head because in my opinion some of our candidates themselves are not showing the respect to their oponents that we would like to see. Specifically, those who suggest that certain other people "do not belong" in the PCPC.

The only message that comments of that ilk sends is that we are not democratic. Nor are we Canadian, in that we are intolerant toward diversity. I see no way that can help us defeat an arrogant government that already has the deck stacked in its favour. Of course some disagree with that assessment, which is their privelege, but I sure hope they don't end up in charge because I'd like to have a chance at least to beat the Grits.
