30/9/03--at 6pm ERG Limited 2003 Audited Financial Report We attach the audited financial report for the year ended 30 June 2003. Our auditors have expressed an unqualified audit opinion reflecting the significant improvement in the financial position of the Group over the last 12 months. This turnaround has been primarily driven by the Group’s successful capital restructure, the sale of its subsidiary Proton World and the restructure of contracts for the Rome and Lazio project. Yours faithfully

PREVIOUS TO THE 30/6/03--BEFORE FY4 PROFITABILITY ERG IN THE 80C RANGE COULD BE DESCRIBED ON FUNDAMENTALS AS A SAFE LONGER TERM HEDGE. ERG ... last close: 0.91ERG is definitely NOT a stock to put the house on.Having said that, from atop 0.82, the outlook is bullish. Since June, higher lows have been the norm. That's bullish. If below 0.82 the pattern will be broken, but not until then.On that basis, 0.82 is a Key Level. It's not a profoundly important Key Level, but it is a Key Level. In addition, there's something of a triple bottom in place.Indeed, there are 2 ways of seeing a triple bottom here.Either a] the Dec/Mar/Jun lows OR b] the Mar/Jun/Aug lows.No matter how the sandwich is cut, the story looks bullish. If you choose to buy, ideally, exit if below 0.82.In % terms that is not a tight exit strategy.Keep that in mind when deciding how much to buy.Keep your exposure to a minor amount.Given the visibility also, it is unwise to be too confident. For that reason, I'm not including ERG in the recommendations.I posted this report only for those with an interest in ERG.In short, there is potential here, but that said ...ERG is not a stock that I would buy.I believe that the outlook for ERG is bullish, but ...In a nutshell, there are safer opportunities elsewhere. On the 30/10/02 P Fogarty sold 125.000 shares for a consideration of 21,609,80 17.50008 exchanging it into 4,763 convertible notes at a ratio of 90 to 1 ERGG which traded as Ergda (along with everyone elses) with adding up all the lows while it traded ad doing a median average working out to be 76.8 ERG traded at the same time as ERGN adding up all the lows and then doing a median average of it over that period 8.42.12/6/03 ERGN adding up all the lows and doing a median average 8.39 Adding them all together and doing a median average of all three figures 76.8 divide 10= 7.68 8.42 and 8.39 =24.490000000000002 dividing by 3 =8.163333333333334 x 10=81.63333333333334c per share--rounded 82c
SOME DATA GATHERERS DID NOT RECORD THE LOW AS 92--15/9---82 is important.

Okay no sympathy asked for then--not likely to get any at Stockcentral--I assure you getting shorted down to 4000 dollars--and then on top of that your elderly dad getting taken to hospital--was no fun--anyway in the future no quarter given from me--I must say the human species never fails to surprise me in the capacity for ill will and meaness--worse than Stockhouse--and that is saying something.

March, June, September, December Final settlement day falls on the third Friday of the contract monthThe last trading day is the preceding Thursday..
Trade note if vested interests say something is not important--then it is the reverse of that--important. The high of 20/2/03 (Sydney) vwap16.53 minus the all time low ERGDA 25/6/03 73 =92.3--the average price an institution sold at 5/9/03--- 92c.
16.53 divided by 2 equals 8.265--with the low on the 8/8/03 being 82c vwap 86.2
Trade note Stockcentral--S&P.26/9/03 PWI 8.4 plus MOT 8.1=16.5--vwap 20/2/03--day of Sydney 16.53 (NT) -- median average MOT/PWI= institutional buy/sellpoint 8.25 x 10 = 82/83--the 7/8/03 to 8/8/03 Lazio begins to kick in within two months of September 3rd--which makes it no later than November the third.
The most important date to remember in the cycle is the 26/9/03--Friday. Crossings done on the 26/9/03--between 100 105--on the 29/9/03--Monday crossings from 2c higher at 102 to 105--both days the high was 105--the lows differed though--with the 29/9/03---being 102--and the 26/9/03--being 100
bookeeper (no association to myself) has told me she was banned for posting on the ERG thread at Stockhouse (NT) -- the following information---ERG is 102--on the 26/9/03 (software fix) 31/8/03 American time 1/9/03 Australian time. -- (psuedo pocahontas removed by American short coverers at another place.), 2/09/03 12:33:13am
