Subject: The war in Iraq

The president has restated that the goal, since WMDs were never found, nor did Saddam have any WMD programs in operation, is to make Iraq a democratic, free market example to other nations of the Middle East. Had that goal been presented to Congress as the reason for regime change, who thinks that Congress would have given him the authorization to wage a war of aggression against a nation that had not attacked the US and had not colluded with Al Qaeda for 9/11?
