] Date Posted: 19:34:21 01/13/03 Mon I'm thinking of buying an 86 turbo daytona for a $150 us! I haven't even seen the car yet! The tranny is supposed to have a crack around it you could drop a quarter in and the body has light rust! Tony and I are thinking of going to look at it tomorrow! Does anyone think I would be making a mistake to buy this car? I'll let you all know how it looks tomorrow evening after we look at it! Thanks, John [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 19:39:56 01/13/03 Mon Well it depends on what it looks like. But even if you buy it and change your mind you could probably part it out and make back your $150 fairly easily. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 23:42:48 01/14/03 Tue Well, we went to look at the car, and it turned out to be quite the pos! :-( It needs a hood, windshield, sunroof, and 4 new tires, not to mention that we couldn't get it running (no spark)! I think the owner is going to part it out, but oh well, there's Tony a shifter and a set of cables for converting his Shelby Charger. If anybody needs any first generation Daytona parts let either me or Tony know. Later, John [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
