I asked Pam about it a few weeks ago on the Mantel, and she just made some joke about it. Didn't sound like she was keeping up over here. Oh, well, as long as it still works and we don't see too many nuts over here (other than the ones we know lol!), it should be all right.

I see you are posting a little bit more (as opposed to not at all!). How are things?

I haven't had much time online for 3 reasons: (1) hockey pre and post season; (2) Eldest daughter was using the computer all of the time; and (3) computer hard drive then died and had to be replaced LOL.

Things are good though. Spring is here, summer hopefully soon, so I'm getting the spring cleaning and yard cleanup done and also trying to motivate myself to finish some wallpapering and sewing projects.

The American Association of Law Librarians is holidng their annual conference there and I haven't decided yet if I'm going. Would you recommend it? BobP told me that nobody vacations in Seattle. They just go through it to go to Canada. LOL

First of all, the weather is a damn sight better than Philadelphia! (I can't remember when they held AALL there, but I heard that the weather was absolutely sweltering.) Late July and early August is the best weather in Seattle -- 70s or so, blue skies, plenty of sunlight.

The Legal Writing Institute was held at Seattle University School of Law (state of the art building -- you should check it out if AALL is not being held there) in 2000. I worked there as a vendor with Lexis. West bribed the teachers with a M's tickets; we gave a cruise on Lake Washington, which was fun (among other things, we went by all the super-ritzy houses on the lake -- including Bill Gates' house, which IMO looks like the Unibomber's shack enlarged 100,000 times).

When would you be coming? I've decided to write the bar exam this summer, which is held the last week in July here. Let me know if you would have a few hours to spare to meet up!
