Mitch added a very rude and uncalled for response to TerryGail last night, and I flipped out on him. I managed to 'save' a copy of it before he came back and conveniently edited out the nasty last sentence. Here's what he wrote:

Yes, it is sad.....Don't get your tubes tied at a young age after just one! Well, Terrygail, you can of course use your experience now to educate others. Today's world, more than 1/2 of the women get canned after just a short time in a relationship, and a marriage, and then, if they are not able to conceive, and honest about that limitation in their new life, it leaves out quite a few wishing for an offspring. Think twice before having tubes tied. There are other forms of birth control. Don't be so lazy!

It was that "don't be so lazy!" that really pissed me off. Poor Terry, she'd gone into great detail as to why she'd made the decision to have a tubal years ago.....that decision was none of anyone's freaking business, and it was certainly not made, based on 'laziness' for christ's sake. So Mitch and I got into it, particularly after he tried to sneak back and edit his post...I cursed him a bit, he tried to take the focus off of his sorry self and focus on my language, and it just went on from there. Surprised he wasn't banned from the place, to be truthful. It's a real shame that the 'helpful' posts to Terry were deleted along with the crap.

I know, I read all, it was still there this morning at 7:00EST. I came back in your defense and I can't find it, more or less, stop kissing a$$ (to Shannie) because she was the only one that had the willforall to confront him upfront. That it wasn't so much his response about birth control, that that was the icing off the cake for many of us. I went on to confront him heavily on bogus overrated, opinionated, indiosycrasies, typing and grammer styles and fluctuations, how he knew exactly what to say to who to bait them, etc. etc. etc. it got worse, but more or less that no one would post unless they were an imposter with a mission. I reminded him to stay out in left field and wait for a catch and to stick to solitaire, but count the cards first. etc., that's about the jist of it. Then I come home from work and it's all gone. I'm guessing something went on afterwards, and now I've missed it, AGAIN.

Paula must have done something, but what? It's obvious Mitch wasn't banned. Paula wouldn't go through the trouble of banning him and then say, "Okay I'll give you a second change" so soon.

Maybe Ethan banned him and then Paula said, "Oh, no. Not yet" and then hooked him back. That would fit the facts.

But do I really believe that? No, of course not. Speaking as someone who once had administrator privileges on DP, I can't imagine a situation where Paula would countermand or reverse a decision like that.

Maybe Paula started something and didn't finish it because of the holiday or whatever. Maybe she tried to banned him but made a mistake and hasn't yet realized it. She is out of town, afterall. Who knows?
