Subject: Guess what?

I GOT MY LAW DEGREE!!!

My prof just e-mailed me and cced the registrar that my paper is acceptable as the writing requirement. I apparently have a few typos and he wants me to do another edit, but he concluded his e-mail by saying that he was glad that I would be henceforth a graduate of Gonzaga School of Law.

(Please be aware that a law school graduate is not the same thing as a licensed attorney. I have yet to pass any bar exams, and am unauthorized to submit legal advice. I am, however, able to give my personal opinion on a legal matter, but encourage that my opinion be confirmed by a licenced attorney in the state of the law that governs the issue. ;-))

Congratulations!

I know the difference and that you still have to pass the bar exam, but as you know law firms hire people before they pass the bar. We have one here who is taking the next few weeks off to study for her bar exam at the end of August.

The Gonzaga law review has always been one of the better ones. :-)

Make it a priority to get your bar exam and licence. The job should be a secondary priority for you.

Your rewards will be higher.

Good luck with the exams!
