In reply to: Kimmy 's message, "Coffee or Pop???" on 11:35:05 10/09/02 Wed

I drink alot of tea. Herbal mostly, no caffiene (sp?). I do have the occasional pop... Fresca. The one and only pop to drink... LOL

I'm not really into mixed drinks so pop is never used there. If I do have one with pop it's usually coke... Vodka paralyzer (vodka, kaluha, coke and milk) but usually I stick to my wine coolers.

I like wine coolers, and Skyy Blues and the Smirnov Ice (I think that's the one). In the true "drink" category, I like those desserty ones that cause alcoholism. LOL. Mudslides (just like chocolate milkshakes) and Orange Dreams are delicious!

The vodka paralyzers taste like chocolate milk. They go down WAY too fast! If you prefer, you can always swap the vodka for tequilla... but I think the vodka makes it much smoother.

Oh... and you must use whole milk.. no 1% or skim... won't work well with anything but whole milk.

I've never tasted a mud slide but I know you can buy them ready mixed in the liquor stores here. I should try one!

I made a pot of irish cream flavored coffee, and drank three super sized mugs of it. I had to with chocolate creamer, and one with french vanilla creamer. I love those flavored creamers!

Getting chilly here now, so I made my first coffee of the season! Then you ruined it when you described what you actually made. Woman! That ain't coffee, that is a sugar overload mixed with a touch of coffee. LMAO

That Irish coffee creamer is what makes the coffee! LOL I'm dying right now because I'm out of it and I have to resort to sugar and milk. Eck!

I'm off to bed. I swore I was going to bed early tonight. My husband did the snoring thing last night and I didn't get much sleep. Yawn.

*LOL* I have to agree with you, Kim. That is *not* coffee! If you ever get a chance watch Denis Leary's standup routine called Lock and Load. It contains the best rant about coffee. I swear that he stole all my thoughts on that matter.

On another note the chippie is still here. The new furnace was installed Monday, but it wasn't installed properly. They came back today to fix the installation and to run some more vents. Somehow, that took all day, even though they forgot to bring the proper equipment to finish the job. So they'll be back tomorrow. The dog's a nervous wreck from having strangers in and out of the house, my nerves are shot from the dogs continuous barking and lack of heat, and hubby is ready to raise merry hell with the furnace company. I think I need a cup of coffee. *LOL*

Did you ever find a trap for that little critter??? Don't blame your hubby for taken a piece out of the furnace guys, it is too freakin cold to be messing around.

If I had a cyber pot of coffee, I would sure pour you a great big hot cup of the good stuff. Sounds like you need it. LOL
