Subject: Has the sniper really been caught?

Here is a link to our local news on the recent arrest.

http://www.canada.com/vancouver/theprovince/story.asp?id={39E4C396-09F0-476A-BB24-420F25FA2FEE}

But he said the gun used in Alabama was not the same as the one in the Washington, D.C., area shootings.

So, what exactly are they saying? They claim that the gun found in the suspects' car matched ballistics on 11 of the 14 shootings. If that's the case then why are they saying that the gun used in the liquor store robbery was not the same gun? Did the suspects have two guns?

U.S. District Court Magistrate Beth Gesner made no mention of the sniper killings. Muhammad spoke little during the 10-minute hearing. When Gesner asked if he understood the charge, he quietly answered: "Yes, ma'am."

So, does this mean that they don't have enough proof to charge Muhammad for the sniper attacks?

What ever happened with the story about the french marksman that was missing in NA?

I wonder if the arrestees are going to claim that the underage Malvo did the shootings, because he is underage.

Here's what I understand so far...

The suspects robbed a liquor store at some point in the past with a different gun. Something (not sure what, exactly) tied it together with the sniper case.

When they were arrested, they quickly pressed charges for the liquor store robbery in order to hold them while they gathered evidence on the snipe attacks. He's since been charged with a number of the sniper deaths.

What's REALLY bizarre is that these two were detained after the 4th shooting, but let go because they were in a blue car, not a white van. Unbelievable! They had them, and didn't even know it.

Doesn't that strike you as just too darn close minded for police investigators to be stuck on a white vehicle? Meanwhile, they let these men go and they allegedly shot 10 more people.
