If you have a bread machine this is a really easy recipe that makes cinnamon rolls similar to those sold at Cinnabon:

1 cup warm milk (110F or 45C)
2 eggs room temperature
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 1/2 cups bread flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsps yeast

1 cup brown sugar packed
2 1/2 TBSP cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened

Icing

1 3 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt

Put the first set of ingredients in the bread maker. Use the dough setting.

After the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Cover and let it rest for 10 mins. Roll dough into a 16 x 21 rectangle. Spread the dough with the 1/3 cup softened butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 30 mins. Bake at 400F for 15 mins or until golden. Ice while warm.

If you don't have a bread machine you could try this recipe. They aren't nearly as good as the above recipe, but my son loves to make these.

2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1 Tablespoon margarine or butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
(adjust butter, sugar, and cinnamon to taste)

Heat oven to 425. Lightly grease a tin or baking sheet. Stir Bisquick and milk until soft dough forms (you may need to add extra milk). Turn dough onto a floured surface. Shape into a ball and knead 10 times.

Roll dough into a 12x 7 rectangle. Spread margarine over dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Roll dough tightly and cut into 12 1 inch slices.

Bake 15 mins.

Yes, I DO have a breadmaker, so that's just perfect!! I didn't even THINK of making the dough in it...so used to thinking it's for 'bread' (though I did make pizza dough in it once, it was awesome). Thanks a lot, Dana.....just what I was looking for :-)
