Two related questions. I found a great deal on Logitech z 640 5.1 surround sound w/ dolby digital sound for just around $50 what do you think? Any suggestions?

Second. I am prety sure my sound card is nowhere near good enough to support the 5.1 and dolby. My notebook just has the soundcard that came with it, an SigmaTel Intel AC'97 Audio Controller SigmaTel Codec. Also as you noticed I am using a notebook. Is an external soud card the way to go. could you suggest some internal and external.
Thanks dan
