 Turned the TV on tonight
after supper for a while
tried to find intelligence
or even basic style
ah but here's a good one
a dog eat dog for cash
smile pretty, bat those eyes
turn our brains to mash

who wants to sell their soul
for the god almighty ratings
it makes your eyes just roll
your fingers poised on the remote
your weary mind lacks function
you're flipping through the channels now
oh LOOK Conjunction-Junction !!

just set it and forget it ??
