how about this Friday night (8/5) at 7pm?? I'll check with bob and see if he has this night off.

Also, I'm wondering what people think about doing our thing acoustic this time? It's a fairly small church and the sound is pretty good there. We also have less room to set up than usual, so if we have less equipment it might be better. I think our voices would carry nicely, and we could bring the small amp for jaya's harp...just a thought

What a great way to end the summer!

We had a very special time of worship and fellowship in South Hero this past Sunday. Jim, Jaya, Tim and Renee rode in Jim's car and Bob and Holly and much of the equipment went in Bob's van, along with Jason and Lydia. We sang "Unto the House of the Lord" as an introit and "Open the Eyes of My Heart" and "Draw me Close" interspersed through a wonderful service, with some traditional hymns and a great sermon by Pastor, Tim Maxfield. We even passed out some Jabbok brochures to folks on the way out. After the service my mother, who attends this same church, and lives just down the road, had us over for lunch on her deck overlooking Lake Champlain. It was a beautiful day and we got some crunchy tart macs from the Allenholm Orchard.

I'm looking forward to our service in Groton next weekend to get an early peek at the changing colors and to welcome in our next season!

Praise the Lord!
