This is a little late response. I called the director of recreations the other day and she said that their computers are broken down and have not been able to process our application. We will wait for the call to tell us that we have a clearance to start.

I thought the service was very special last Sunday and the rehearsal afterwards was very helpful. Thank you for being there. We will have the special Thursday night service on the 22nd at 8 Daniel Dr. because of the continued cold weather. We will see you then.

Well we finally got to the Dale Woman's Prison in Waterbury yesterday. After a service at Jim and Jaya's in the morning, 7 of us headed over, including Jim, Jaya, Irene, Lisa, Holly, Bob and Tim.

We arrived at 2:30 and had to wait over an hour while they searched for our badges, but we finally got our equipment set up in the visitor's room.

Only two women showed up for our service, but they both seemed to really enjoy it. According to the gaurd who assisted us there were 39 woman being held there. The girls told us most don't go for activities unless there's refreshments, so we're thinking the next time we go we should bring some goodies.

Jim's readings included the story from the book of Acts of Peter's visitation and deliverance from prison by the angel of the Lord. While the worship team sang Draw me Close, Jim prayed the "Labyrinth prayer" to lead us from our Calvary to our Garden Tomb of Resurrection. The message of the Gospel was delivered through our songs and readings.

Whether in a physical prison, or one of our own making, or due to our circumstances, we can take comfort in knowing that by His stipes we are healed!

And if the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed! John 8:36
