Subject: Installing a heated shield

So this past weekend I installed a heated shield. The first problem I ran into was it seemed like there was no voltage from any wire source. I then realized that because I have no battery in my Formula Z, that you do not get true voltage until the RPM's are over 5,000 RPM's. Around 3,000 RPM's you only get about 2 volts. The second issue was I ended up tapping off of the "reverse buzzer" and the problem was I only got voltage when the reverse lever was engaged. I managed to wire the reverse switch so it was always on and disconnected the buzzer all together. Worked like a charm.
