Good morning ladies! I am going to attempt this one more time this morning. I got a new computer and I am having a difficult time with the wireless internet. I keep getting disconnected....I'm not the computer genius I thought I was. LOL
Anyway, I am glad to be here this morning even quite a bit late. My time with the FATHER has been interrupted many times today, but I am going to attempt to share with you now what I heard HIM say to my heart this morning. HE has reminded me again that HE has a purpose for my life. HE seems to be doing that a lot lately...Maybe I am thick skulled and am not getting the point. Anyway, lets take a look at the WORD this morning and see what HE has for us today. I am praying and asking HIM where HE wants me to begin studying in the New Year. My desire is that I would have a heart open and receptive to HIS leading. For today and the rest of 2005 I am still in the book of Psalms. It is such a precious book to me. HE has taught me so much over the last 4 years from this book. Many mornings HE has lifted my heart when it has been very heavy. I pray that HE has used this book to lift you too. Ladies, the bottom line of it all is that if we will take the time to get into HIS WORD, HE WILL SPEAK TO OUR HEARTS. HE has done this for me so many times.
I want to look this morning for a few minutes at Psalm 57. Let's look at verses 2 & 7. I cry out to GOD MOST HIGH, to GOD, who fulfills HIS purpose for me.
My heart is steadfast, O GOD, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.
When I read those verses this morning my heart cried out to my FATHER. I thanked HIM for bringing me to a place that only HE could have brought me to. I am overwhelmed when I think back to where I was when HE got my attention. This morning my heart said..."I haven't always felt this way about YOU, but I am so thankful that YOU have drawn me to YOURSELF. I love YOU so much and all I want is more of YOU."
Ladies, if you could go with me back to where HE reached me you would recognize that GOD has done so much in my life!
It is because of where HE brought me from that I love HIM SO MUCH. My point this morning is that I have not always been steadfast in my commitment to the LORD JESUS, in fact at times I find myself asking HIM what in the world HE sees in me that causes HIM to allow me to serve HIM. It is beyond my comprehension, but it is for this reason that I KNOW HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE TOO. It is because of where I have been with HIM that I know you could never cause HIM to turn you away. Ma'am I find myself this morning wanting to tell you that no matter who you are, no matter where you find yourself, no matter what you've done: HE LOVES YOU BEYOND YOUR WILDEST IMAGINATION. You CAN have a steadfast heart, you CAN know HIM and desire HIM more than anything or anyone else. My passion and my most earnest desire is that every hurting women would come to the place in her life where she realizes that the LORD JESUS gave HIS life so that we could know HIM. HE wants to do in your life what ONLY HE can do. Won't you give HIM that chance?
