Hey ladies! I would say good morning, but it is nearly afternoon! Sorry I am late today, I have not been feeling great and so I have slept in a little the last few mornings.
Anyway, I have started this morning in the book of Ezra. Let's take a look at Ezra 4:4-5: Then the peoples around them set out to discourage the people of Judah and make them afraid to go on building. They hired counselors to work against them and frustrate their plans during the entire reign of Cyrus king of Persia and down to the reign of Darius king of Persia.
Ladies, have you set out to do something for your GOD only to have people attempt to discourage you? This is not a new plan...this is an age old operation of the enemy of our soul. Satan does not want us to do great things for our GOD. Because of this he will provide many to discourage and belittle all of our attempts at service for our GOD. Are you attempting to save a marriage that is barely hanging on? Ladies, hold on to JESUS...HE WILL see you through. Are you attempting to be in a ministry that HE has called you to while others laugh and say, "You'll never succeed!" Ladies, HOLD ON TO JESUS...HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.
If you follow the story through you will notice over in chapter 4 the rebuilding effort comes to a halt for a time, but don't stop there. You see, in chapter 6
they ultimately did finish rebuilding the temple. They rebuilt it and they dedicated it to their GOD.
Ladies, this is something you can hold onto. This is your GOD. HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH the challenges you face!
