Good morning ladies. I will be brief this morning. Let's take a look at Nehemiah 3:1. Eliashib the High Priest and his fellow priests went to work and rebuilt the Sheep Gate. They dedicated it and set its doors in place, building as far as the Tower of the Hundred, which they dedicated, and as far as the Tower of Hananel.
The entire 3rd chapter of this book reads much like this first verse. We are given a long list of names of people and the work that they did on rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Notice with me a small phrase in this verse. Eliashib the High Priest and his fellow priests went to work. Ladies, they got busy. What we are going to discover as we continue through this book is that Nehemiah and the children of Israel rebuilt the walls around Jerusalem in an astounding 52 days...these walls had been broken down and in piles of rubble for over 100 years. Nehemiah came, he surveyed the work, he shared with the people the vision that GOD had given him and they went to work. I have only one question this morning and then I will pray and be done for today...Have you begun the work yet?

FATHER, give us hearts committed to doing the work that YOU have called us to. Thank you that YOU have a plan for our lives. Thank you that we do not have to sit around, YOU have given us work to do. May we get busy and go to work. Give us eyes to see you, ears to hear you, and hearts that are open, receptive, and responsive to YOUR HOLY WORD. I love YOU! In the Matchless Name of JESUS I pray! AMEN.

ONLY and ALWAYS Because of JESUS-
Vicky
