Saya dah berkidmat di Malaysia 3 tahun dan saya amat mengalu-alukan kehadiran Mbak Inul buat show (manggung) di sini tetapi agak keciwa kerana pihak pemerintah nggak beri kelulusan.

Sejak Inul muncul sebagai penyanyi dangdut popular, dia juga begitu popular di sini tetapi beliau ditegah buat persembahan sehinggalah tanggal 1 Mei, 2005. Inul diberi peluang dengan koncertnya berjudul Konsert Fenomena Dangdut Inul Daratista at Stadium Merdeka!! Ya memang hebat persembahan Inul.

Petikan dari akhbar The Star (Malaysia),

"The show began a bit late but her die-hard fans had, despite a slight drizzle, crowded the front part of the stage an hour before the show started.

As they cheered wildly for her, Inul took to the stage in a turquoise figure-hugging suit and went straight to her first song – Kocok-kocok."

"But the Javanese-born singer, who shot to instant fame with her sensuous gerudi (sexy gyrating dancing style), did not perform any of the hot stuff.

In fact, there were no lewd movements as per her agreement with Malaysian authorities.

Yet, her “tame” dangdut style was still hot and energetic in her subsequent numbers like What's Up and Ada Apa Dengan Dia.

Malaysian singer Salleh Yaacob, who is among the more famous dangdut singers, came on next with Kopi Dangdut and Gali Lubang.

Then, when Inul launched her next song, the familiar Nirmala – Siti Nurhaliza's popular number – the crowd simply went wild."

"In contrast with the demure and gentle Siti, Inul's version was rather upbeat, with her prancing around throughout the number. In fact, she probably covered the entire stage while performing the song.

Inul's vocals were superb and she controlled the crowd easily by asking them to sing along with her.

The two-hour show ended with Let's Get Loud and Joget Sama-sama."
