Thanks for understanding. It's not that i'm THAT fond of Serge, he's not that personable to me, but i try to give people the benifit of the doubt too much. but i know how these guys can be, so it shouldn't shock me.
Nah, i don't live in Newnan, i actually live in a city called Peachtree City, but Newnan is right next door, and that's who my internet provider is...Newnan Utilities. but yes, they're both 20 minutes away from Atlanta.
My favorite player, for 12 years now, is Slava Kozlov. that man is so...amazing. his style of play, his poise, his leadership ability...they all impress me. needless to say, when Atlanta acquired him, i was estatic! he's married as well, with the cutest little boy, and from what i hear, a new baby that came along around the same time that Benny's daughter did.
yeah, JP got hitched. that's great, he's a wonderful guy. i don't know X's girl too well, i've only seen her once. didn't seem too friendly either, but oh well. i hear Weaver's engaged now...that's great, send him my congrats!
Ivan, Ivan, Ivan. LOL. he's a nice guy, really, but a little on the...not so bright side, to put it lightly. my dealings with him go back to my experience with a Slovakian exchange student who lived with my family for a year back in the late 90's. we're still VERY close, and when she came in December, we happened to run into Ivan. he and my Slovak friend of course talked a bit, and i was introduced. i didn't see him for a while, and at that time, he was just coming to play for the Thrashers. the next time i saw him was January, and he was still single, missing his mommy and just recovering from a really serious knee injury. i feel for the guy, he's not THAT terrible. (HA! Ivan the Terrible...not terrible...nevermind...)
the best of the best of the best, in my opinion, is Dany. that boy is so nice, humble, genuine, caring and down to earth. he's so shy it's cute. he and i are the same age, separated by 6 months and 3 days, and i know that what he's going through has to be awful. the accident really tore me apart, mentally and physically, and there are days where it still makes me ill. i've seen Dany twice since it happened, and the last time i saw him, he was goofing off, smiling...acting like the Old Dany. that was so refreshing, words cannot begin to describe. i just hope he finds complete happiness one day.
(also, he doesn't strike me as a sleezeball...i'm sure he's had his fair share, but i hear girls aren't really top priority now, you know? have you heard different?)
to be quite honest with you...i haven't been with a hockey player before. not that i haven't WANTED to, it's just that i'm never in the right place at the right time, or i get scared, or i'm working. there's really only one player (okay two) that i've ever literally PRAYED to be with.
this board is so much friendlier than the others i've seen...i feel comfortable posting here. so thanks!
