My friend Paulie from the band, "becky" emailed me this to forward to any folks I know in L.A. who would want to attend this charity hockey game. Id LOVE to go myself because one of my favorites - actor Michael Vartan - will be playing. What a man..ahhh... Anyway here is the scoop for anyone in the area. It's for a great cause. Take pictures!

STARLIGHT CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION PRESENTS
An evening of hockey fun with two teams of celebrity skaters, a raffle and a VIP dinner for skaters and sponsors Saturday, January 17, 2004 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
WHAT: Starlight Children’s Foundation 2nd Annual “Stars With Sticks”.
Starlight Children’s Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill children and the people who love and care for them. Founded in 1983 with the granting of a single wish, Starlight offers an innovative menu of creative and fun “entertainment therapies.” Starlight lifts the spirits of over 100,000 suffering children in more than 1,000 hospitals each month.
Children and their families will enjoy a wonderful evening of hockey pitting one team of celebrities against another. Some of the skaters this year will be David E. Kelley, producer of The Practice and Boston Public, Kiefer Sutherland, star of Fox’s 24, Michael Vartan, star of ABC’s Alias, D.B. Sweeney, The Cutting Edge, Dave Coulier, Full House, Alan Thicke, Growing Pains, Bobby Farrelly, producer of There’s Something About Mary and Stuck on You, Enrico Colantoni, Just Shoot Me, Paulie Kosta, guitarist of becky, David Silk of the 1980 Olympic Gold Hockey Team and many more. This event will be hosted by Fred Roggin of NBC Sports. There will be a raffle and an after-event dinner for Starlight families, celebrity skaters and VIP corporate sponsors.
WHEN: Saturday, January 17, 2004 Puck Drops at 4:30 p.m. Dinner: 7:00 p.m.
