LMAO..I only know of two guys that got with an older woman. They were both rookies (two separate years).
There are the older ladies that act as you described. More like a mama bear protecting her cubs? Yeah I've encountered a few of these ladies. They mean well, but some of the players do find them a little overbearing. Sometimes it's sad because if they say something, even if it's nicely, they come off acting like an asshole. I've seen that happen many times, too. I've had a few surrogate mothers sort of shoo me off.
HP's nice packages of meat? Ohhh yeah I'd have to agree. For the most part, only one has been a real bad experience, and he's just a jerk on the whole--girls, stay away from a goaltender named Mike Gorman if you ever encounter him!! Having now met some of the NHL'ers, I find it kind of funny how easy it really is to talk to him in the right situation, when I thought I'd NEVER be able to actually do so. They're guys, just like anyone else. Even my fantasy man...excuse me while I sigh...
