Okay, I am sorry, but it's not even feasible that Ricci could be considered attractive. Even with a paper bag over his head, that disgusting hair would show. Anyway, the game last night SUCKED. We were down 2-0, but then we came back to tie it. I'm thinking we have a chance, I have the lucky socks, we have to win. All of a sudden, the Sharks are on a 5-on-3, and it's 3-2. Fine, we can come back. Sharks are still on the PP, and BAM, top shelf stickside. At that point, everybody started leaving. I'm sorry, but I can't see us making the playoffs this year, and it sucks. But back to the players.
During warmups, I kept looking for Selanne, but I kept spotting Ricci instead. UGH! So I stopped looking over there REAL quick. The usual Hawks looked in my direction, with a couple surprises. I'm such a fixture at the games they're all probably like, "Oh THAT girl is here again."
During the game, Mark Bell kept having to take faceoffs against Ricci. It was horrible to look at such a thing of beauty standing next to a monstrous freak of nature! The worst part about Ricci is the lack of teeth, and the tongue constantly protruding through the gap. Please! Control your tongue! Later on, Selanne took a high stick to the eye. I was trying to see how bad it looked, so I was staring at him. He was looking at the ice and skating in my direction. He looked up for a second and hello Teemu, eye contact. The eye looked fine then, but thirty seconds later, it was swollen up and red.
Every Valentine's Day, the Hawks sell Puck Surprises, pucks with autographs, if you get an autograph signed in gold, you meet the team, etc. Anyway, I walked around, trying to pick out which wife I wanted to buy my puck from. I found Steve Sullivan's wife, she had both the kids with her. They are ADORABLE. The oldest looks exactly like Steve, with blond hair. He was dancing around, so cute. No wonder Sully is faithful, he's cute, she's cute, the kids are cute. Perfect looking family. I felt a little odd buying a puck from Mrs. Sullivan while I'm sporting the Sullivan jersey, but hey. I bought my puck, it was Denis Savard. WAY better than Chris Simon or Igor Korolev. It was only signed in silver, so no meeting the team. It's for charity though, so the money was well spent. There was a definite lack of brunnette wives though.
Hope everyone else had a better Valentine's Day than I did. I'm SO retiring those socks.
