I do understand Slej, I have similar conflicts with a couple of our rival teams. I guess I like to see other good teams do well so we can maintain those rivalries. It would really not be hockey playoffs without a Wings/Avs series and look how dull the playoffs were last year with Dallas out!

The more players are traded around the league the more teams I root for. I follow my Co. boys to their new teams and my hockey world expands along with them.

I cheered for Ewe Krupp in both the games he played for the Wings..j/k

I follow the trials and travails of Chris Drury and Stephane Yelle in Calgary and The Smiling Finn in Pittsburgh. Adam Deadmarsh and Aaron Miller have made me a closet Kings fan. Hell, I even cheer for Odgy and Bob Hartley in Atlanta.

But my heart and soul is with my Avs. Other pretty faces and wicked wrist shots may turn my head momentarily but only for a fleeting dalliance with Markus Naslund or Nik Lidstrom.

I agree that Crazy Eddie would have been a better fit in Detroit than Cujo. Too bad the Wings saw Cujo as the greater prize and persued him instead.
I have to say the funniest thing I saw was when Alex Tanguay popped a shot past him a couple weeks ago and Cujo did his head flip AFTER the puck had already gone by him, like that acrobatic move would disguise the fact that a goal had just been scored on him.

Enough of my midnight rambling....
