feels that there is something going on in the forest that he should know about, starts out on his way, only to find a monster waiting outside on his front doorstep. Tired of whoever it was that kept on sending these with the apperant intent of killing him, he quickly blasts the giant fire-breathing chicken with one bolt of lightining by twisting two strands of magic floating right above him. He had moved that strand of magic there when these monsters had been coming more persistantly, and this was already his third time to use it this day. Noting to himself that he should probably replace that strand every now and then, he moved off to the lake, which was where he had felt this disturbance. He quickly transported himself to about one mile away form the spot, and then began walking, not wishing to suprise whatever it was that he was looking for.
