wow, does this ever bring back some memeories. let's look at this objectivly, people. Shannen feels pasionate about her music, and understandably so. Punk started out as a representation of a movement, and the movement (which I am not punk educated enough to accuratly define) has adopted punk as its main media forum. This movement means allot to those who grew up around "real" punk, along with the Shannen-esque people of our generation who love it now. I emplore the world to not bring Shannen down for feeling passionate about something.

However, I have learned from experience that people generally don't like to hear about one's opinions of what should and should not be in the modern music industry. The simple fact of the matter is that some bands just are, and it is often neccesary to ignore them completely. Even saying little things like "They're not punk" is enough to irritate people to the point of overblown arguments like this one. I would suggest not giving a damn about the rest of the world. Seemed to work for me.

Ladies and gentlemen, what you have just seen is an example of OBJECTIVE REASONING and everyone involved in any of these pathetic arguments is guilty of not using it, myself included. Too often people involve thier egoes in thier arguments, which makes it too personal. In turn they fear being wrong or "outsmarted" and must make personal attacks to reassert themselves as the geniouses everyone thinks they are. This applys to EVERYONE who has made these childish posts. I'm sure this has been very taxing on some of your attention spans, but I had to get something out there.
