Dear Ellie

We are in the highest of spirits and have taken courage and valor into our bunker. We spend our days in the rolling glow of Gascony performing songs and shouting racuouos old style rock and roll. We have many new songs, some are very beautiful, others of an entirely untamable spirit. we play them at full pelt, heart and head feel like they will explode and its like falling in love at first sight again and again.sometimes wanting to run the streets of london and not stop and get knocked over by motorcars and get up again.not a taxi though.and everybody is best freinds again and zachery is lovely and we all go to the pubs and the clubs together. so its good. i mean we've had some trouble but it could be gone. I think I will retire to Bath. I wouldnt mind playing there again. Not with The Subways though. As well as being entirely insipid when playing their socalledsongs they were fucking arrogant beforehand.Their singer said to me after we played "you were really good" and then smiled horrid as if i had been touched by Midas. I replied callously
"thankyou child prodigy. the talent you have and the joy from your curls of envy must weigh heavy on your soul.or pehaps just your bedsheets. Where's Charlotte? She is well fucking fanciable. Like Princess Dianna without the makeup and filtered through the pages of Readers Wives."
Can we come to Bath and play somewhere. I think a holiday is in order. Theres a very nice hotel we stayed in on the Moles Street. It had huge rooms.Do you have those pubs where bands just turn up and play acousticcally? What were these board games.
We are into Risk and Monopoly-The Butlins edition.
Hope otherwise all is of goodtofirm.
much lovex

Dearest andrew,
I would like very much to hear these new songs you speak of. "entirely untamable spirit" eh? Intruiging.
remember to look left, then right, then left again when crossing the road, i know londons exciting but just dont get run over! i think Baths a lovely place to drink tea and walk in parks. except Jane Austen hated Bath, and everyone makes out that she loved it, everytime i walk past the jane austen centre before going to moles; she's (the plasticated life size model thing) either giving me a scary look, or some excited japanese tourist is posing with her. I hate Jane austen novels though, so i dont really care if her name is used in vain.

i dont agree with the subways, silly kids.
we played a lot of Articulate, but i had to be banned because i got so stressed and started to shout irrationally. Also good ol' pitionary, thought i cant remember a damn thing about it.

Arrivederci chicos
love Ellie x

ellie dear
its good for me, getting run over. I got runover two years ago on the way to Glouscester Road by a brown Lada. Wasn't going very fast, about six miles an hour. I sprained my ankle.
I'd fucking love it if I were to be clipped by a milkfloat, or at thirty to be pensively battered by a black taxi whilst hiking the strand.I've not heard of Articulate. We prefer the games which have tangible monuments of success, like tanks, and cannons and hotels and quarry in the back of a landrover.
Me and Phil were thinking of becoming fisherman. He has his own rod. Daniel is an excellent sailor.

well as long as you dont mind getting run over that the main thing... My brother had a car crash with a milkfloat, there were thousands of gallons of milk pouring everywhere. It was quite a sight. But i dont recommend it.
Dont become fishermen, please. It would kill me, and the fish.

xx
