Subject: sad bastards playing champ again
stayed up till four in the morning playing Championship Manager with Shack.Phillip came home at midnight drunk and smashed up his own room.
My team is cultured Portsmouth in the old first division. It is full of fast youth, people called "dave hill" and really crap Spanish strikers. I've got this one called Carlos. He is forty and his acceleration is 1/20.Quality. My strike force is Peter Crouch and Niall Quinn. I have taken "the big man up front" and modified it, "two big men up front". Im am in the playoff zone approaching christmas and am six points clear of Shacks sweaty squad. He just activates the release clauses in the contract of Swedish boys and signs them.the lowest form of champ.
My goalie is Neville Southall-signed him from non-league- and he is forty three. He has been a revelation.

Daniel Shack to tear six year old swedish boy away from his family so he can sit in his reserve team on inflated wages forever.
he also has davor suker as his main goal threat and the pathetic Glen Helder as his "talisman". I have Robert Prosinecki and Carlton Palmer bossing the midfield.
It was a ten hour session and a mean display of management. We lit a fire in the room. We played each other in the first game of the season. I battered him 2-1 and I was away. He was voted manager of the month for november. His chairman has a very sexy underling on the f.a. Shacks players have more interest in their haircuts than the F.A cup and would prefer to penetrate each other than the play-off zone. have to go to practice.normally a joy and play the fiddle out of the mind.but its just a case of signing a couple of fullbacks to shore up me defence.carlton palmer needs a deputy and Neville Southall is forty three soon.

you would think it was the 97 edition with talk of signing Southall, Glen Helder and alike.... but we are playing the 2002 edition... but that's how much our football knowledge has moved on...

Although signing the young Swedish boys for 3k could be described as the lowest form of champ, just wait until they develop and Southall announces his bombshell retirement. You'll regreat not tapping up the wide eyed youngsters.
Any of Blackpool's squad would do you a job.

Is started playing CM 01/02 the other day, took Wolves upto 4th in the premiership by the second season and then retired a happy man.
