That's right misinformation and subterfuge reign supreme in the world of funfairs and heartbreak, phil will probably turn up at the barfly on friday for soundcheck, the poor lad does get confused rather easily.

First day post-dayjob, rather strange, spent most of it in the parental loft looking for antique dressing tables and tea chests to furnsish our new abode, unfortunately all i found were a few rather nifty 70's soda-water dispensers from my mother's much mispent disco period, and a rather nice old briefcase...the search for furnature continues.

daniel - i've seen quite a nice shop just off essex road. they had tan leather armchairs and nice wooden tables, didn't look too expensive.

i'll put the FFF on .org if you like, heheh. x

hmmm tan leather armchairs....that sounds like just my cup of tea. Although i was hoping to find a pre-war chesterfied sofa on the cheap.

Those retro soda dispenser thingy's fetch quite a bit of money these days. I'm quite cross at my mother for binning hers in favour of a Soda Stream. Which broke.

Oh, that reminds me - I have a working soda stream which I can bring. While we're at it, can anyone answer a long standing query of mine - if you put white wine in a soda stream, does it come out like champagne?
