Liverpool's premier pop purveyors, 28 Costumes, bring you an album to whizz round the room about, as well as occasionally get all emotional and have a little sit down. And in celebration of this new disc (that comes in a two-in-a-bed package with it's own live DVD, ooh!) they bring you a big mutha of a party!

Beginning with an exclusive in-store performance at pure groove, an independent record store with a nose for the new situated at 679 Holloway Road, just 38 seconds walk from Archway tube, the semi-acousto, booze-fuelled, quite-loud-actually, live action begins there at 5.30pm prompt, no-good kids with KFC boxes will not be admitted.

Then the party begins proper at Nambucca 596 Holloway Road At 6pm doors open and you'll find DJ's, competitions, felt-tips, superheroes, dancing and pints for £1.50. The 'cossies will play live with support from General Khaki and very special guests, oooh ambiguous!

Entry to all this is FREE for everyone! Arrive early to ensure entry and getting to the bar before the bands start. 28 costumes and pure groove salute you!

i do highly recommend attending the in-store gig at 5.30, marvel at the chipboard surroundings as pop melodies spill out the door and into the dirty street.
