How strange. I live in Hither Green. As I sit here typing I am no further than a ten minute walk from the station itself. I'm afraid it's not as lovely as the name suggests. Quite a lonely little station actually. But it has some potted plants the station master waters daily, as if his life depends on it, two toothless tramps that I give cigarettes to, and a nice man who sells me flowers. Actually, now that you've got me thinking, I actually quite like it. Not so nice at night though... You begin to remember you are on the borders of Lewisham and everything turns a bit more sinister with drunken old men, and people asking if they can "borrow" your phone.

Then come out of the station and you are confronted with a desolate place that seems to have no purpose apart from just to fill the space between Blackheath, Lewisham, and Lee... Just long streets leading to other places, and nothing else in particular apart from an ugly pub, a kebab shop, a very pretty, old little coffee/flower shop (who put actual melted chocolate in their hot chocolates), a scary looking hairdressers, and a tiny video shop.

And that's Hither Green for you...

I'm very tired, and not of a completely stable mind.

So I thought that said Hitler Green, for bloody ages.

I get it now.

And it seems like a lovely place Alice, both during the day and in Andrews little vision.

But I don't like Silverlink trains as a method of transport...bloody extortionate unreliable fuckers.
