Subject: accident in the workplace

i just fell over a pile of boxes behind our counter.
my finger is lightly grazed.
it's really quite painful.
the boxes contained music sale stock.
y'know, like sheet music for obscure german cheese musicals

the question is, do you think i can claim compensation like they do on the telly?

my finger really hurts.

Your employer has a statutory obligation to maintain a "duty of care" towards you in your workplace. Put it in the accident book and take photos of any injury caused. Compensation is unlikely for a minor injury although on site first aid should be delivered as appropriate.

Rock n Roll
