Subject: Election Update 2PM Sunday in Ireland...


Fianna Fail has 75 seats. Bertie no longer hoping for a majority but a coalition with the PD, but he could still get a majority. SF has 5 seats, did very well in 1st Pref votes, even where SF did not get the seats.



Here's where the counting is still going on

Galway West has 3 seats undecided.
Laois Offaly has 4 seats undecided.
Limerick East has 3
Longford-Roscommon has 3
Wicklow has 1

So that's where to watch. If you click on the area you can also get a breakdown of how the counting has been going the redistribution of votes. RTE did a great job on this.

There are recounts in progress in the following:

Cavan-Monoghan (don't worry SF are not in trouble here)
Cork South Central
Cork South West
Dublin Central
Kerry South

SF lost the seats in some areas, but we were very very strong in first pref votes in some where we just lost the seat.
