Beeman R1 magnum airgun rifle, right handed cheek pad, .177 caliber. Velocity about 1000 fps with lighter pellets, 950 fps with heavier. 12 groove rifling. Scoped with a Bushnell 4X duplex air gun target scope with target adjustment knobs and parallax adjustment for air gun distances. Scope is very bright with a large view field that snaps clear as soon as the gun is shouldered.
Included are 10 tins (about 5000 pellets) of Beeman Ram Jet Silhouette pellets for extra accurate field use. I tried all of Beeman’s pellets and the Ram Jet style grouped superior in this gun. You should not have to buy pellets for quite some time. Also included are the stock signts with inserts. Rifle weighs about 9 pounds without scope and cocking effort is 34 pounds. It is relatively quiet for the power it develops. Beeman rates its sound as “moderate.”
There are a few minor small nicks and scrapes from normal use but no gouges, “beaver bites,” and no rust. The rifle would be rated as in excellent condition. Asking $325. Free shipping. garydixon@hotmail.com
Approximate prices 20 years ago: Rifle: $600, Scope: $120, Pellets: $5 per tin
