Can't help you with the accuracy question, other than making sure rear sight isn't shifting. CO2 is the standard 12g cartridge. Only thing I know about feeding is that the manual advises pointing the muzzle down at about a 45 degree angle and shaking the pistol slightly while holding the feed slide forward. Maybe internals need a little lubrication ? Daisy will send you a photocopy of the manual at no charge ... toll-free 1-800-643-3458. You might be interested that there were two variants of the 1200 ... outwardly, the only notable difference is that the older variant has a little view port above the loading port so you can see the BB being chambered. I'm told that on the inside, the tube extension that the barrel slides into is about 2 inches longer on one gun, and that the spring on one gun is noticeably longer and heavier, with a shorter barrel bushing at the muzzle, while the other gun has a shorter spring with smaller diameter wire, and a 1/4" longer barrel bushing at the muzzle. Don't know which is which as far as the older/newer variant, or what effect it might have on accuracy. That's all I know about them, for what it's worth ... good luck.
