Subject: FS: Tau-200LD PCP air rifle Author: Charles [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:11:10 11/14/02 Thu Author Host/IP: ip68-6-119-232.sb.sd.cox.net/68.6.119.232 For Sale: Tau-200 LD If you are not familiar with the Tau-200 LD, it is a Tau-200 match air rifle that has been converted from CO2 to compressed air by MAC-1. This one is my spare one. I would rather keep it but another toy has come up and I need to clear a little space. o Gets 40+ shots between 660 to 690 fps with 10.5 gr. Premier pellets. That works out to about 11 ft-lbs. Obviously lighter pellets will shoot a little faster. o The rifle has a fill pressure of 1800 psi per MAC-1. You get a lot of fills from a 3000 psi tank. You can even use lower pressure 2250 psi steel scuba tanks (you can find these used for pretty cheap). o The rifle has a ambi plastic stock with adjustable cheek piece, adjustable butt pad, and an accessory rail in the forend. The action and the barrel are also grooved for scope mounting - lots of length to mount a scope (a Big BSA fits nicely). o Very nice match grade adjustable trigger o Light weight - weighs about 6 lbs. o Quick connect filler with protective cap on the end of the cylinder. MAC-1 (www.mac1airgun.com) has the mating couplings. o The stock is in very good condition. The action and air cylinder look great, but the bluing on the barrel is pretty light with spots of patina on it. When oiled it looks OK but it is not a showpiece.
