My sister has offerred to have a baby for me doing home insemination (with my husband's sperm of course). Is there anyone out there who has done this using a family member? I would of course have to adopt the baby. She offered this to me, it wasn't even my idea!! She swears she wants to do this for ME! She has 2 grown children, now lives with a woman partner, is set in her career, and has no desire to have another baby of her own.

I do not want to use a surrogate and my husband is not interested in adoption. I've done Invitro twice and had already given up..until now. We thought that this baby is as close to my own as we could ever ask for!

My sister and I live 2,000 miles apart, so having distance between her and the baby would probably be a good thing. She would of course be a big part of all our lives after the baby was born.

Any feedback would be appreciated!
