The Germs @ Warped Tour, a good idea? Posuer punks will get to see them? and then soon claim to be fans of them. OMG bands like good charlotte play on the warped tour, and the germs will be right next to them! Should we blame shane west, or the need for more popularity? Why is it that all punk bands now join the warped tour? Warped was never good. my god. No i am not blaming this on shane west, i'm just saying why blow away ur punk credentials by playing on something with emo bands and posuer punk?

I am not trying to sound like one of those kids who bitches about everything with new punk, or the germs playing reunion shows. I mean I like the reunion shows, I just don't really like the fact that they are playing on warped tour. And how one of their songs is gonna be on the warped tour cd and how faggy little posuer kids are going to be hearing it and going to be like. "OMG dude, u gotta check out this band, I just heard this song, and boy this group sounds awesome, Let me tell all my other posuer 12 year old friends about them!" Ya know. I like the germs back, I just hate them being on warped tour, I mean warped tour sometimes shows itself on MTV for crying out loud,.

Don't know what other bands everyone is into, but I think the Buzzcocks are playing at warped tour too. Most of the bands are pretty shitty, but sometime you stumble across the ones that are worth their weight in piss. Haha. I've been to warped tour a few times; if you're one who despises "poseur" punks though I suggest you smoke something before you go in because almost everyone there will piss you off. I have to admit, though, that it would so be worth it to see the Germs. I honestly never thought I'd be able to see them in my lifetime.

of course hes going to sing it differently. hes not darby. i think the only person that sounds like darby is darby himself. and its not like the remaining germs (pat, lorna and don) just picked some random guy to sing with them. they went through a bunch of people and found the best one, which was shane. alot of people who dont like him havent even spent the time to go see them. i have personally seen three of their shows and i think he does a pretty good job

i've seen one, and i was up front so the music was blasting in my ears. But i could hear him pretty well. He's alright i guess. If you ask me he was trying too hard to be like him at the show i was at, everything he did was copying darby from other shows, even down to throwing bits of paper at the audience.

Hey, would you rather have a guy from Fallout boy trying to be like Darby or an ER actor? I'd pick the actor.
