I remember L.A. back in 1979, I was drugged out, I would'nt say I was a punk, more of a Hippie, But i loved the new Wave AKA Punk, Always in the audience, When the bands played those Raging fast songs, ude get pushed all over the joint, You Might not remember, we were only at a couple of Clubs, I was in a band called the Idiotz, We never got a label. we were just another bunch of Random bands trying to make it, Well anyhow, i was a Germs show in the audience, I believe the song they were singing was Richie Daggers Crime, A Guy pushing People around beside me, Darby Called Out, "Hey, Hey you, Dont touch him", I was not sure why he would say that, since the hole club was a riot, i guess he was bashing around one of Darbys Friends, I had a Pleasure of Being Yelled at by Darby, He told me to give him the beer, so i passed it up, It was drank by the people before he got it, he got angry and starting screachin his loungs off telling people to give him the fucking beer, It was a Great time, Agter the Concert, the germs were kicked out of the club, The Club owners through there Equipment out, I Helped Pat pick up his guitar, we had a Talk, just a Social chat, He was Wierd but friend at the same time, After that, I Continued the Riots in the Clubs, Till Punk finally died, So the all this time, i have been writing a book, About those days, you may be able to find it in the library, its called Distance times
