shows at shantytown are usually free or for a small donation for the bands. you COULD charge 10 bucks if you wanted to but people would probably not be too stoked to have that infringe on their beer money. you probably could get away with charging 5 though. the problem with the pit isnt that its a stupid venue (which it is but thats beside the point) its mostly just that a good majority of the people who would go to see this band live in the downtown/riverside area and aren't very likly to drive out to hodges and pay 10 bucks to see a band. and i know thats a bummer and everyone should support music wherever and all that good stuff but people are fickle...and stupid. ill go to the show no matter where it is but this show would for sureeee be way more fun at a smaller place where everyone can party
