but if you compare last years opener vs. the sens to last nights game... goddamn, we're looking solid as fuck. we definitely need to step it up against philly, but that's always been an ugly rivalry. the team is just maturing into a dynasty. i am of the opinion that gary roberts is god, and cannot be beaten by conventional weapons. sid, malkin, and armstrong are only gonna get better with age. i can't wait for what becomes of this team, even if they don't get the cup this year, i expect great things for the next 5 years from these cats.
