A huge apology to everyone in any way inconvenienced by the cancellation of the Galway gig.
The band were nearing B'ham on Sunday evening, travelling back from Belfast, when someone spotted the gig, which we had all believed was cancelled weeks ago, advertised in The Guardian gig gude. It was immediately obvious that there must have been some mighty communications cock-up - ho hum!
We are really aware that people sometimes travel long distances to go to gigs - if it happened to me I'd be angry.
We had some wonderful times in Ireland and this trip was no exception. For me, the Belfast gig was magical for lots of reasons. So its sad that at the end of our trip, some people were disappointed. Apologies again, and hope we get to meet up next time over.
