Long Live The Beat

After someone sent some pix of recent Beat reunion show I pulled my Rock The Casbah tape by Ranking Roger and The Clash to play in this weekends set. So many memories. Saw the Beat 12 times here in Southern Califonria between 1980 and 84. The first opening for Talking Heads on the "Remain In Light" tour. And those 5 nights with the Clash! So many memories. Yes, I remember the Congo's LP. A collectors item among reggae collectors now. Cedric appeared with the Beat at a show I saw at Rissmillers back in 82 (the night after the "Us" Festival). Please please
please come back and play Southern California again!!! You have so many fans here.
