Subject: Gig at The Witchwood

Well, I can't believe it - that's twice I've managed to see The Beat this year.

The gig at The Witchwood last Thursday was awesome. There was a good crowd in and everyone was "up for it". It appeared to be the same set as the earlier gig I attended (Blackburn 30/5), except this time the crowd got them back on stage for a completely unscheduled final encore, where they sang 2 new songs, one of which was quite "punky" and was about rollerblading (Roger - "rollerbladers can be rude boys too!").

Can't wait for the next time they're back "up North".
