kevin, have you ever even heard the 4ft fingers, anti flag or break these walls? or d'you just decide that you don't like a band and shut your ears and make up songs in your head for the whole set? i'm sorry, not liking btw is fine, but really, those comparisons are just silly. and old school? i'm not even gonna try and define that, but i don't reckon btw are it.

anyway, greatest songwriters. yes, blake is great, but i reckon the jets stuff is nowhere near as good as his jawbreaker stuff. i agree with harry on bad religion / pennywise - it's all too samey for me, and i'm not too keen on that whole (to coin a phrase) popcore sound. although i dunno how apt the "core" is. i like spazz too though. my contributions would be, er, against me (dunno who writes the songs, but they're better than everybody), hot water music, fugazi, strike anywhere, grade and converge. although whether any of the above are actually "punk", per se, is another matter entirely.
