I've written quite a few songs/poems but unfortunately have no singing talent and no band! but i don't care cuz it's an outlet for me to express myself -like website's are for other people. In reply to Dan - like i wrote on your guestbook covering so many songs (especially ones that are currently in the charts) doesn't strike me as a good idea. If i had a band i would want people to like us for playing our own songs and not other bands!! Maybe when you've been around for a while and established yourselves maybe then you can filter in some covers into your set. And if you gonna cover songs maybe rework some of the classic punk rock songs and reinterpret them. Personally, i like NOFX's cover of 'Radio' better than Rancid's and that's because they changed it into a reggae song. Anyway this is turning into a dissertation.
